Elisha frowns and her nose twitches at every word from the Sacrifice Game's explanation.
"Mr. Keter, this game sounds like one we can only lose," she clicks her tongue and rolls her head to the side in impatience. "We either die now or live in this theme park doing various trials for the sake of some innominate goal, is that right? Why should I even bother playing? Maybe it's best to forget all this and die."

"What an inventive way to torment people. Whoever made Keter must be insane," Argus commented, before ignoring the perhaps-AI in favour of Charlotte. He squatted down awkwardly to match her eye-level. "Whatever this 'game' is, it's going to be rough on all of us. I'm going to do my best to help, like I said earlier. You've also got Wolfram there. He strikes me as a tough fella you can rely on."

Charlotte meant to answer Elisha's question, but her attention was snatched away by the whole, you know, Sacrifice Game thing. Maybe some other time, Elisha. She scratched at her bandages in a not-so-delicate manner, then smacked one of her hands against her forehead a few times and screamed. "No... NO! This is a dream -- a BAD dream, and I want to wake up. Wake me up!" Blood trickled down her arms as she further irritated the wounds. "Oh, God... Oh, GOD!" she cried out and began looking around. "Who did this? Who brought us here?! Which one of you was it? I'm--I'll..." She sank to the floor, out of breath. "I'll just sit here... fine." Quite well timed, Wolfram came over to pick her up, wiping off the blood that was leaking from her wounds. He didn't offer her any words of comfort though, choosing to glare at the monitor with the smiley face on it (much to the relief of others, as having him stare you down was not a pleasant experience). " Whatever our captor desires, we must not go along so easily. Whether they are lying about our kidnapper being in our midst or not, I cannot tell. But we must stay vigilant in the case that this AI is telling us the truth. Either way, it desires nothing but our suffering. Catering to its rules will end up resulting in our demise." He spoke these words that could drive a chill down anybody's spine. The situation was grim enough as is, but the day he delivered these felt like an ill omen. A warning of sorts.

Ari listened to the rules of the Sacrifice Game in silence. Her face grew paler.
"H-Holy shit..." Her voice was thin, barely a whisper. "We're really gonna die here, aren't we?"
As the others continued talking, she kept muttering expletives under her breath, staring at the floor in shock.

Hakim frowned during the explanation, sweat tracing a few marks on his forehead. "I second Fen's question," he said, crossing his arms. "As much as I hate saying it, I don't think trying we have a choice in catering to this God damned game's rules. I'm certainly not willing to take a chance with these bracelets -- if they managed to round all of us up and put us here, they can definitely afford to make sure we follow their checklist."

"Why are you making us do this?!" Fen accosted the speaker. "And why... us?" "You all have a purpose here. I'm sure you can all come to your own personal justifications as to why you were chosen. It will become apparent in due time." Elisha frowns and her nose twitches at every word from the Sacrifice Game's explanation. "Mr. Keter, this game sounds like one we can only lose," she clicks her tongue and rolls her head to the side in impatience. "We either die now or live in this theme park doing various trials for the sake of some innominate goal, is that right? Why should I even bother playing? Maybe it's best to forget all this and die." "Interesting point." Keter pauses for a moment. "I suppose you could. Though that would get quite boring after a while, wouldn't it?" "No, there is some incentive. Across the area are rooms that correspond to each Sefirot. If you happen to stumble upon the Keter room, I will grant the wish of whoever finds me first." "And of course, there are ways and methods to escape. Participate in these trials and a path will open for all of you. Though whether you all make it out alive or not..." "I suppose, unless you all have more questions to ask, you have a choice to make. Cooperate, will you?" The monitor flickers and switches its display, instead showing off two strings of text. Time to Decide:A) Asiyah StationB) Briah Station"Of course, in the meantime, I'll be glad to answer any other questions you all may have. I'm here to help, after all." (This is the first major choice in the game. Though unfortunately it doesn't seem all that important. Across the game there will be various choices for you all to make, either independently or as a group. This is the latter situation, obviously. Though as the game goes on there will be scenes and situations where I will inform the players to be checking their role PM for choices and decisions to make throughout the game.) (Also, you've all unlocked Whispers! Well done. This will work very similarly to the way they did in NGX, where two players can have a private conversation together for a timeline. However, there are no permanent whispers in this game, so I'm debating on if I should change the "only one per player, per timeline" rule. Let me know what you all think about that. But currently, you may request a private conversation with another Sefirot in the game, and they will be given a chance to accept or decline. If they already have a conversation with another player, the request will automatically be declined.) (Since it's Christmas Eve, I don't expect the game to move forward that much over the next two days. I'll be here to continue answering questions in game, and out of it, on top of setting up Whispers, but I don't think I'll move the game ahead to the first branch until Boxing day, as I'll be pretty busy these next two nights. I hope that's understandable.)

V stared at the screen blankly for a little while, but the news of the game didn’t seem to sour her mood significantly.
“Are there any limits to these wishes?” V asked uncertainly. “Seems like someone just needs to get to this Keter room and wish for an escape route for everyone! Should be simple enough if we can all track it down.”
“But this choice, uhh…two stations with totally random names,” V mumbled. “Seems like a kind of arbitrary decision, huh?”

God, I hope it's more than enough." She looked into his eyes for second. "I trust you. At least, I believe that you believe in what you're saying. Please don't lie." Quite well timed, Wolfram came over to pick her up, wiping off the blood that was leaking from her wounds. Failure to meet these requirements will result in your quick and very painful death! Boo! Hopefully you'll get better luck on your second attempt. "Interesting point." Keter pauses for a moment. "I suppose you could. Though that would get quite boring after a while, wouldn't it?" "Can you please elaborate on your definition of second attempt here? Do you profess a belief in the spiritual world to us?" Elisha paces with her arms folded behind her back, perhaps because of the lacking real estate in the front to do so there. "Just help me understand what it is that you're trying to say." Her heels grind on the floor as she makes an aside to the others, "As for my vote, I'm rather largely interested in Briah station. Doesn't seem to make much of a difference either way though since Mr. Keter is in control of this situation."

"The world of action, or the world of creation." Yesod said. He was trying to be helpful, but forgot to say which was which and also that he was translating the stations. "We have very little to go off of, but I believe putting it to a vote is good. Just... Go with whichever speaks to you! I will pick Asiyah."

"We're really just gonna go with this, huh?" Ari stared at the screen, trying to put her usual glower back on, but it was obvious she was still frightened.
With a shaky breath, she sighed. "Well, I guess it doesn't matter whatever option we pick. I'm going with Briah"

"If we are truly going with this, then I suppose it doesn't matter what we choose... for now." Wolfram furrowed his brow in thought. "I shall go for Briah then. The World Of Creation... Charlotte, what shall you choose? I will stick by your side no matter what." He said to her comfortingly.

"I hate being made to choose with no ground to stand on like this," Hakim grumbled, mulling over the options. "It makes me feel uneasy. I will vote for Asiyah, since it's the one that sounds nicer," he said, rubbing his chin and mumbling the word a few times.
"Yeah, that'll be it."

"Is this the amusement park that was purchased by Everett Cain?" Fen asked Keter.
She then looked down at her bracelet, which displayed "Chesed."
"...I'll vote for Asiyah. If we have no idea what's going on, it doesn't really make a difference which we choose, does it?"

V crossed her arms and pouted when Keter completely IGNORED her but still spoke in the same cheerful pitch.
“Yeah, I like the way Asiyah sounds,” V said. “Probably not the best reasoning, but better than nothing I guess!”
V seemed unaware that she had just doomed the train to idle in the station until everyone died.

"... Well, if this is the situation, I'll change my vote to Briah." Yesod cold-heartedly betrayed all the poor people who voted for Asiyah.
"Even though I really wanted to see Asiyah..."
A pathetic excuse, inaudible and not worth hearing anyways.

Wolfram suddenly felt compelled by an otherworldly presence to change his vote to Asiyah, for no reason other than his player thought it'd be funny if they managed to get a tie anyway.

"Your choice has been made. Wonderful." It seemed like any of the more particular questions wouldn't get an answer just yet... Slowly... the engine of the train turns on, and the carriage begins to rumble. Following along its tracks, the train soon finds itself underground, deep within some sort of tunnel. With the wheels rattling on the tracks, and each artificial light in the tunnel whipping by, only barely visible through the windows of the train for a moment, the players lose track of how long they've been standing and waiting for the train to stop... And eventually, it does.Coming to a screeching halt, and causing a few of the players to stumble forward, the train finally opens its doors. " Welcome to the Asiyah Station. Please enjoy your stay." The players are soon met with a floor plan on the wall, though it's missing some important details... (Basement 1 Map: i.imgur.com/mLw9VG2.png ) Glancing across the open space, there seems to be a handful of places of interest. For one, there's some high rails in the distance, and what appears to be some roller coaster carts... The players also notice the train tracks continuing forward in the floor, leading to a comically large, steel door, blocking the path forward. And a little past that, seems to be this strange glass enclosure... "Hrm. According to this map, all these red lines mean the doors are locked..." Argus frowns. "Well, surely there must be some way to open some of them?" Fen, looking over Argus's shoulder, chimes in. "Perhaps. Perhaps not." Wolfram, who didn't even bother looking at the map, said ominously. "Regardless, it seems like there's really only one thing we can do!" Yesod, who sounds like he's smiling behind his mask, points a finger in the air. "We just need to look around, hmm?" After a bit of consideration, everyone ultimately agrees that that's probably their best course of action. Perhaps they'd find some alternative method of escaping, and didn't have to partake in this game at all? Would that be asking too much? (This is an Exploration Phase. Don't worry, it shouldn't take long. This is just to let players get their bearings and understand a new area, as well as discovering the rooms and areas they'd interact with in the future. There isn't even a lot to discover here, so this really won't take much time. Though if it does, I can easily cap it and finish the rest of the discoveries in a follow-up GM post. It just seems like it'd be more fun to explore, in a sense.)

Stepping out of the door, V wandered through the room, staring in awe at the room around her.
“Temperature has decreased. Pressure has increased,” she mumbled. “We are farther from our destination.”
She walked down the scary murder hallway on the top-left of the map and checks the two doors, hoping not to get murdered in the process.
