"Oh. Good." The relief on the woman's face was obvious as she finished her check. However, her brow furrowed a moment later. "Ari, you know... Mr. Honda?" "Yeah?" Ari said, matching the woman's furrowed brow with her own glare. "What, is there some sort of problem with that?"

"I'm not sure about my fellow amnesiac, but I'm sure there must be someone here who would recognize me." he said. "That seems like the most likely explanation for going through all this trouble with the mask and the voice changer. And maybe V would recognize someone here too, if she had her memories!"
"Though... Now that you've brought it up, maybe the rest of you that do have your memories could think of any reason why you or your acquaintances would be kidnapped? And placed in a strange place like..."
He looked around for a few moments. It was a little funny, how he had to turn his entire head in a direction to see through the eye holes in the mask, left and right and then up at the ferris wheel. "... An amusement park? What is this place, anyways?"

"Though... Now that you've brought it up, maybe the rest of you that do have your memories could think of any reason why you or your acquaintances would be kidnapped?" "I assume they've finally come for me, like I always knew they would..." Argus replied cryptically. "I just wish they hadn't brought so many others into this. Whatever 'this' even is; I'm afraid I don't know much more than you do." It had taken quite a while for anyone to place his accent. It seemed British, but with variations that could come from anywhere in the world. At this point most probably settled for 'he sounds a bit weird'. He glanced over at Wolfram then. "I can vouch for V. She's a decent sort, just figuring things out, making a place for herself in this world. The tenuous connection to our mutual kidnapper is likely a coincidence."

Whose trouble are you in?” Elisha’s ears perk up under her dreadlocks and her brows disappear in a furrow behind her sunglasses. “Are you really going to act like you know more about our captors than we do?” She clears her throat, “Anyways, shouldn’t we finish up introductions? Can the last person give us names and maybe a fun fact about yourself? I’m not asking for too much.”

"I wonder what the two without their memories have to do with this? No offense to either of you, of course, but everyone here seems to know at least someone else." "Hey, just cause I've forgotten a few things doesn't mean I don't know anyone," V said, wearing the same smile as always. "Argus over there—he gave me a place to stay for a bit after I woke up. And Yesod, there's no way he'd be fitted with that mask unless someone here stood a chance of recognizing him. Though honestly, I'd rather get to know some of you than be stuck with folks I've already met anyway." V didn't respond to Wolfram, seeming content with Argus's explanation. She grinned at him and tried to shoot him a wink, but due to her bandage it just looked like she was blinking. "Weird thing is though...some of you feel familiar to me, but...I just can't place it It's...strange." She held a hand to her face to ward off a slight headache.

Yesod looked very hurt at finding out that he really was the only person here who didn't know anyone. No one noticed because of the mask though.

Charlotte went back to tugging and pulling on her bracelet. "Forget introductions -- we should leave. I think we should LEAVE! Nothing good will come from this, I think!" Several things were making her uncomfortable -- the bracelet, V, and the Asian woman in the suit -- which she tried to explain, but it probably sounded like incoherent babble to most of them.

"I'm Fen Ling," the woman introduced herself. She cast nervous eyes over the group. "If nobody knows what's going on, then... leaving probably is the best course of action."

If V noticed that she was making Charlotte uncomfortable, she didn’t seem to care. She stood on her tips of her toes, eyeing the Ferris wheel curiously.
“Hey, you think we can go around that thing again?” V glanced pleadingly at the others. “I was unconscious till, like, right at the bottom. I know we’ve been kidnapped and all, but—come on, might as well have some fun, right?”
She started wandering around the base of the Ferris wheel, looking for any sign of a power switch.

"Of course! Where are my manners? For those unacquainted my name is Elisha Desroches," the woman, Elisha, bows deeply in acknowledgement to the others -- but not without tilting her head up with a subtle smirk, looking for any untoward glances. "Little Sato here is like a son to me," she adds, about the clearly taller man. "Anyways, I'll have to catch you up on Sabrina and my own stories sometime later. There are many details that we won't want to skip over. Not that it's all been good, of course! Ha! Ha!" She gives the man a sincere smile and tilts an eyebrow up, "You'll have to let me know all about what's been going on as well, okay Sweetie? Seems like you've met all sorts of new friends like Miss Ari here." "Of course." Satoshi smiled. "Let's figure out what's going on here before we catch up." “Yeah.” The girl - Ari - cracked a small smile at Sato’s words. “Not exactly the best place to meet again. How are things? Same as me? Because right now I’m feeling very kidnapped and angry.” "Yeah, things are pretty much the same." He nodded. "It could be worse though. At least there's a few familiar faces here."

"It could be worse though. At least there's a few familiar faces here." "We're not dead, either, so that's some sort of positive." She tugged at her bracelet uncomfortably. "Wonder what the hell they want with us though..." If V noticed that she was making Charlotte uncomfortable, she didn’t seem to care. "...We just got kidnapped, and all you care about is riding the fucking Ferris wheel?" Ari's expression was something between her usual glare and genuine shock. She put her hand over her face as she watched V examine the Ferris wheel, muttering under her breath. "Oh my god, we're all going to die here."

“Miss Charlotte you need something urgently? I didn’t figure we needed to run. It seems whoever captured us probably won’t just let us run home, so let’s just be prepared to take things one step at a time, okay Darling?” Elisha slathers as much honey as possible on her words, not trying to worry the girl further. She tries her best to make sense of Charlotte’s words but failing that just nods along.
“On the topic of who knows each other, Mr. Hakim is another friend of mine. We haven’t been so familiar with each other but I owe him a thing or two.”

And it’d be a shame if we all died before I got the chance! So come on, help me figure this out.” V kicked the base of the Ferris wheel a few times, hoping that would start it up. It didn’t seem to have an effect.

"We must leave." Wolfram spoke, taking note of Charlotte's panic. "Our captor will most likely not let us go so easily, yet we must try. This area reeks of misfortune. Let us not waste time here on rides or attractions. We seem to be safe, but that may not last for too long." He stepped forward, opting to examine the general idea for a way out.

“Mr. Argus, what’s this funny business? Whose trouble are you in?” Elisha’s ears perk up under her dreadlocks and her brows disappear in a furrow behind her sunglasses. “Are you really going to act like you know more about our captors than we do?” "They kept me captive in my own mind, now they're keeping me captive in a distorted theme park," Argus 'explained', gazing vacantly around at the park around them. "At least I assume it's a theme park, can't see much in this dim light. I wish I could tell you more, but even I don't know why anyone would go after me." “Hostility detected…” V’s arm glowed for a moment. Her head snapped up and turned to face Ari. “Well, what have you gotten done so far by worrying about it?” V asked. “I haven’t gotten to ride one of these yet—at least not that I remember. It didn’t seem to have an effect. "Now, now, let's not get at each other's throats. None of us mean the others any harm, we're all victims here. There's value in examining the Ferris wheel in greater detail, anyhow. There could be a reason we were put in such an odd place to begin with, or perhaps there could be a clue left behind by our captor. We certainly need to get moving, but that's not to say we have to move away from here. The worst thing we can do - make that second worst, after 'running off alone' - is be rash."

"So... now what?" "We leave. Obviously." "And how the heck are we supposed to manage that?" "We should start by searching around, I think. Standing here all night won't do us much good." The ten captives nod and come to an agreement, and begin searching around the area. Though promising at first, they quickly run into some barriers. The part they're trapped in seems almost entirely secluded. Grass and dirt, along with worn down fencing surrounds them, but beyond the fencing is darkness and fog. Though some of the more keen eyed captives manage to notice another wall behind the fence. It seems like climbing over wouldn't be very fruitful. A little more searching leads the group to a metal wall, opposite of the wheel where they were all dropped off. Further investigation leads them to a door, that opens easily. With no other choice, the group all walk through to find what's on the other side... The door leads to a stairwell, which following it downwards leads the group to an underground subway station. There's a train already parked, too. Above a single door is a gently flickering light. Ari quickly learns that approaching this door causes it to automatically open. After a bit of deliberation, the group figure that their best course of action is to search the inside of the train itself. And so, one by one, each of them board... "I thought it was dark out there, but it's much worse inside this." Argus scratches his beard and frowns. "There's got to be some sort of light in here, right?" Sato leans over against the wall, and pats his hand around looking for some switch. "I fail to see any issue." V, somewhat monotone, stands perfectly still and looks around her in one fluid motion. "Well! Isn't that a marvel. Such incredible eyesight, even with only one! That's pretty spectacular, you know. It's also-" Yesod didn't even get to finish his tangent, as the lights finally turning on silences him. The carriage is a bit of a mess, with the floor strangely stained in odd patterns. One end of the carriage leads to a firmly shut door, that doesn't seem to have any handle or accept any key. On opposite end of that, is a strange monitor and a little keypad next to it, though the monitor is pitch black. Others instead notice the strange smells coming from the trashcan to their left, the little box to their right, or the desk scattered with papers in front of them. There's even a little computer sitting on top. "We.. We should just get OUT of here. I'm sure we can climb those fences, maybe climb those other walls too, and..." "Yeah, though I don't think that's how we're gonna do it." Hakim frowns. It looks like we just need to... "This is good. If we can get outside of this train, we might be able to walk along the tracks and get away from the park," Argus commented. "It'll be a walk under the park! Eh? Eh?"
Without hesitation, he began rummaging through the trashcan.

Ari finds that nothing they manage to do cause any sort of reaction. Upon further investigation, they figure that they keypad is searching for a seven digit passcode. There's even a strange, cryptic note on the side of the box. (Keypad Puzzle: i.imgur.com/qBaNvAJ.png ) Argus, aside from getting his hands covered in filthy, stinky garbage, finds one thing of value: A strange mirror attached to a circular piece of metal. He has a feeling this will be useful later...

"Ooookay." Ari stepped away from the keypad, looking around the room. "Is that a hint or some cryptic feel-good message? I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if it's both."
Ari glanced around the room, looking for something that might shine a light. Not much, but maybe the computer screen? She walked over to the computer to examine it.

Yesod scans over each paper intensely. While nothing seems to be particularly relevant to the group's current predicament, he's still incredibly fascinated and ends up reading all of it anyways. Most of it ends up being various tidbits and notes on inventions by a man named Everett Cain (Previously known to a lot of you as Everett Muller.) Though some of the papers mentions Everett purchasing an old, run down amusement park. ---- V finds the small box opens easily, and is taken aback slightly by what she finds inside, a strange set of wires, all which seem to be lacking power. (Wire Puzzle: i.imgur.com/varyzas.png ) ---- Ari finds that the computer doesn't have a lot on it. The only thing open, and accessible, is a strange grid with one box lit up, coloured green. This must be some sort of puzzle... (Computer Puzzle: i.imgur.com/rKKYf1v.png )

Ari glared up at V. "I'm not some stupid kid, y'know. I could've solved it on my own. You've got your own puzzle to do anyways." Of course, if someone looked at the notes Ari had been furiously taking during the puzzle, they'd see she was only just barely figuring out how to do it. The computer responds with an audible "Ding!" but nothing else. It seems like the answer itself is your reward. "Oh cool, so are all these puzzles going to be stupid feel-good bullshit?" Ari groaned, leaning against the car wall. "Fan-fucking-tastic."
