Scott sighed. Clearly, no one had any other ideas, so it fell to him to speak up for once. Ugh. "Look, I'm not sure about the rest of you, but Monty has been rather suspicious the entire time, wouldn't you say? Claiming things that aren't his, randomly corroborating or forgetting what could be important information... I have an itching feeling he's working with the Prophet. "Speaking of work, we also ought to decide on who to send out for that. I vote for myself; the cells won't clean themselves, after all." Fran sighed after finishing her affirmation list, content. "... Okay. I feel a lot better now. I'm ready." "I'm not the keybearer, so I'm a safe kill. Vote for me."

"My stance is unchanged! We're best off starting with her," Andrea said, pointing at the still unnamed employee.
"As for the Abnormality work, um... Vincent, Enid, Scott and Finn. But we have so little information to base this off of right now that I don't really mind, I'll agree with whatever you guys decide!"

Enid muttered, "im not voting for you Fran....that's pointless......" And then sighed, not wanting to come under fire, though more finding it unavoidable in this situation.
"....I think....one of the people here has been acting a bit strange....and seems like they're trying to stir the pot....." She glanced at the mysterious employee. "If I am being honest.....I......" She put a hand her head, feeling her heartbeat quicken, failing at her attempt to stay calm. "Well.....I feel bad if I say.....say it out loud."

"It's not pointless! I know what I'm doing!" Fran insisted.
"I don't think we'll have any luck voting more or less at random. Until we have more information to direct our voting, we should just aim to minimize harm."

“Ugh, Andrea. Guess it can’t be helped. Naturally some will have biases against those from other departments.”
“Fran and Monty are both certainly not the key bearer. Of the two, Monty seems more suspect. Plus he’s not a part of the team.”

"Honestly, I don't know much about you guys..." Delta ponders over the matter for a moment. "Hmmm... Fran's offering to sacrifice herself... Monty got a vote and that mysterious employee got a vote as well..."
Delta close his eyes and imagined that he spun a wheel to decide who to vote for.
"... I cast my vote for... Fran." The man decided.

"Oh. We have to vote for who to go to work too, right?" Fran asked like she wasn't in the lead to go on the chopping block currently. "I guess I'd pick me, Andrea, Enid, and Alune. Sorry, I don't have much of a thought process here..."

"Wh-what?! You're offering yourself up just like that...? How noble... but no way! I'm voting for Mr. Montague- He's too silly and weird and confusing! I don't trust him too much... Well I don't really trust... her... either, but he's so..." Tangerine stares at the key in her hands with a puzzled look.
"And for workers... Fran, Enid, Scott and Finn. I don't have much of a reason either... I'm willing to go if any of them don't want to, by the way."

"Um... sorry hehe. For work I'd vote me, Finn, Andrea, and Carbon."

Vincent gives a disdainful look to Monty. "Your jokes are ill-timed, brother. We're in a life or death situation and you joke about the murder of a coworker? If things weren't this dire, I would happily choose a less drastic option, but...I vote we kill Monty. If not for potentially being an Apostle, but for potentially helping them on accident."
Vincent rubs his eyes as he hears the various collection of names of people volunteering to work after Fran volunteers herself to die.
"Fran, I commend your bravery in volunteering that information, but now you've painted one of two pictures. You're either an Apostle pulling an incredible bluff, or you're...one recklessly helpful employee. You should go work so we can narrow that down. That said..." Vincent says, turning to Scott.
"Scott, that sounds like a good idea. However, I vote Scott, Greg, Fran, and...Enid, since they volunteered." Vincent concludes. "If some people want to work, then I believe they should work."

"... I'm willing to change my vote to Monty if one of you people gives me at least one good reason why Monty should be a good choice to get rid of." Delta said as he looks at each and every of the workers. "Until you can convince me to change my mind, my vote's still on Fran, since she volunteered after all."

Father Pliny nods to his best friend and fellow priest. "I agree and 100% trust you so I will Second all your work votes but I will also say that I 100% trust Fran to do something this powerful and selfless, and what sort of spiritual credibility would I have if I allowed a woman this POWERFUL to not sacrifice herself for her fellow employee?" Father Pliny takes out one of those green bibles old white guys are still giving out at colleges, and holds it over his heart. "So, Fran Let the spirit fill you as you take your destiny into your own hands." and then he wipes a single tear from his left eye.

Osborne has written Monty name on the wall on deep crimson paint. It looked like blood. Where did he get that from?
“I think Monty is the safest option, though I don’t want to elaborate at this time,” he said.
“As for the work votes, I don’t really care, as long as I’m nit getting my hands dirty. I will third Father Pliny’s votes.” He stared in the direction of the priest for an uncomfortable amount of time.

"Well, if she's offering, then I'll vote for Fran as well. Less of a stain on my conscience that way."
Finn huffed.
"Not that I trust any of you more or less than her. If I could do all the work myself, I would. But since this is a... ugh, a team effort, I'll vote for myself, Andrea, Greg, and Enid to work. Whoever comes with me better pull their weight."

HOUR 12 OF LOCKDOWN"Then it's decided." Fran shuts her eyes and smiles. "I'm glad, then. You're all making a good choice." She steps away from the group, into the middle of the break room. She patiently waits with her arms at her side. "Let's do it here. To show there's no funny business. Though I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help..." "Fran..." Greg hangs his head a little before lifting it back up. "It's okay! You're being very brave!" "And... I'm sorry you'll all have to clean up after me. I wish I could help with that..." "I... Don't think this is the best choice, but you're being very noble." Andrea frowns a little, standing at a distance from the group once more. The whimsical and strange employee is the one who steps forward. She's already raised her arm, aim locked true onto Fran's head. "Sorry about this. But we all know what you're plotting behind our backs. Feeding the rodents, plotting to steal Saber's will, and-" "Just... Get on with it, will you?" Finn cuts the other employee off and puts a palm to his forehead, obviously annoyed. Fran shuts her eyes, instead of looking down the barrel. Her mind races, having anxiety over all the things she's left undone, and all the work she's pinning on everyone else. But at least this way, she's being useful, right? Maybe that's enough. "Good luck, everyone." She mouths silently before the sound of gunfire rings through everyone's ears. As smoke rises of the barrel, a gentle thud is heard, as Fran falls onto the floor, a bright red dot now in the middle of her forehead. Fran has been killed. Just as quickly as it happened, a strange song begins to play from the break room's little radio that's always been there. It's oddly cheerful, and quite strange."We have work to do, everyone." The nameless executioner steps away from the radio. "No time to delay." Everyone, with a heavy heart, leaves the Cleaning team to tidy up while the strange song plays. This isn't anything new to them, but the current circumstances makes it sting more than it ever has before. They wouldn't let Fran's sacrifice be in vain. (The Noon Phase has begun! You all have 24 hours to settle on a group of four workers to generate energy for the day. This is also the time where you submit your next set of actions! Please send them in through your private thread before the time limit, as both the work for energy and the next Dusk will happen at the same time!)

"Standing operating procedure would be to select a group of employees who would produce the most energy. However..." It seems Monty is too busy to react to Fran's death, or the fact that he was the one almost on the chopping block. "Why should we toil away while the Apostles plot our downfall? Let them handle the heavy lifting while we relax for a change. Not that I would ever consider relaxing when I have so much work to do. No. Definitely not. And if the Apostles do slack off in their work, it will be apparent when we finally check the energy reserves. Yes. Consequently, I propose that we try to vote the least trustworthy people. Besides me, of course. I am already much too busy. Yes. Definitely."

Greg opens his mouth in astonishment, kind of like pogging but for people. "Woah... you're really smart Monty! That's why you're my favorite member of the -*blood loudly splorches out of Fran's head*- Department!"
"I'll unvolunteer from working if everyone wants me to. Um, you guys do want me to, right? You don't think little ole me is suspicious?!" There's desperation in his smile.

"Otherwise, we'll be here all day again, just to decide who we think is the least trustworthy. Besides, now is hardly the time to try to sow discord amongst us, no? Why don't we suggest those who we think are the most trustworthy? Then, if we get less energy, we know that one of them is not to be trusted. Which, in turn, leads to the same end result you're looking for anyway."

Enid muttered a soft goodbye to the now dead Fran, though getting more used to the carnage as she was able to brush it off slightly easier this time to focus on the task at hand.
“I-interesting……if that is the case….. Least trustworthy…..” She looked at the floor, thinking for a bit. “I don’t really get it but.....in that case, maybe the other two employees who got votes should be the ones to work then......I mean....that would uh, count as being untrustworthy right-" She held a hand over here mouth, "Oh but, well... If you're too busy Monty.....we can just find... Another suspicious person.....other then you….”
She shook her head suddenly, hearing Scott's take gave her a bit of a panic attack trying to think of another option,"Well uh.......why don't we just......take two of the people with the most votes already....then take.....Monty and uh...." She shifted a glance at the unnamed employee, "that person......"

A bead of sweat appears on Monty's brow as someone votes for him. "A-Anyway, if I've remembered everything correctly, the current votes should be as follows:" "Yes. Penciled it in between all my others tasks. Exactly. I'll vote for Scott, Pliny, Enid, and Tangie. I have much other work to do, obviously. Yes."

Scott sighed angrily. "Well, I'd have to vote for someone else regardless, since Fran sacrificed herself. With that in mind..."
He considers his options for a moment. "The ones I'd have to say I don't trust the most would be, in no particular order, Andrea, Monty, the unknown member, and Greg. Though I'd prefer to stand by my original votes, that would mean I distrust myself, and while that is slightly humorous, I'm about the only one I trust left."
