Here's the OFFICIAL (and very cool) Apostle thread!
Introduce yourselves to each other, and work together on some backstory. Why are all of you out to sabotage Lunares? Are you being controlled by an Abnormality? How did you all meet up to work on this? Do you just want to go home, or set the whole space station on fire?
Additional details on how the game will work/flow will be provided sooner rather than later (definitely before the game starts).
The Apostle who starts with the killing power, and how it's passed down after the first to have it dies will be randomly assigned each cycle. They'll be notified in their private thread when it happens, and I'll probably post it here too.
As the Apostles, you also have access to a factional role that will rotate between members who lack a role each cycle. Details on that role will be given out closer to when the game starts, and that's mostly because I don't want to type it up right now.

My name is XXXX XXXXXXXXXXX I’m a member of the data team, and I sit in the background and gather info. I will never give my name to anyone and say as little as possible.
I don’t have a role power.I am pet of Greed.

My name is Vincent Walter Caglio. I'm a member of the Disciplinary team. I tend to micromanage and make sure no-one does anything stupid and sticks to protocol. But admittedly, I care very deeply about the people. I have my soft spots.
However, I'm secretly here to try and 'sabotage' L-Corp because I believe harboring and exploiting the Abnormalities is very sinful. I want to see the entire establishment fall apart under the justification of 'righteous indignation'. Even if a couple eggs get cracked in the process of making this omelet.
I have a power: The Monkey.
Each Dusk, I may target two Sinners to visit in a specific order (Player 1, Player 2). Assuming nothing interrupts my action, all actions that targeted the first player will instead target the second. (All actions meant for player 1 will instead target player 2).
My sin is Envy. I envy the power the Abnormalities have. If only I was stronger, perhaps more people would feel safer around me and God by proxy. But no, we rely on these unholy things for sustenance.
[Will be updated more at a later time.]

Oh wow very intriguing.
My sin is greed because I’m always gathering info even when I don’t need to. I just enjoy the power and privilege of knowing things others don’t. In fact, [redacted], and even further, [double redacted].
I am ‘friends’ with Vincent, maybe because he saw through one of my many information campaigns and that drew me to him. To talk to him and learn more of his wills and thoughts.

I appreciate the information exchange. Communication is important in this line of work. Ignorance is the #1 leading cause of death and containment breaches. I am gladly cooperative with this unnamed individual, albeit skeptical. No matter.

My name? Why does my name matter? Nobody pays attention to the cleaning staff. They're just as expendable as the rest, if not more so. We're always sent in to clean up your guys' messes, and your bodies if you just so happen to die in there with these... Abnormalities.
Then again... nobody would expect a janitor to throw in with this crew. Heh. I suppose I can work with this.
You don't need my name. I won't just hand that out to just anyone. When we're ready, you'll know who I am. But I'm so envious of you, Mr. Vincent... After all, you have no problems just naming yourself. As if we wouldn't betray each other if it was convenient.
Let me make one thing clear: work with me, I'll work with you. Throw me under the bus... well. Just know that I hear a lot of things, and know a lot of people. I have no qualms making some new "friends".
I look forward to working with you, "friends". May we finally prove that humanity is truly the most enviable of all.
Oh. And one last thing. I currently don't have a power. Maybe that'll change on a new day. Heh... heheheh...

Um. Well. My name is Tangerine, but you can all call me Tangie if you'd like... I don't really mind sharing my name with you, but I understand why you wouldn't... I'm also on the cleaning team. I get it.
Also, I kind of agree with Vincent...using these mysterious creatures as energy sources does not feel 'right'... I almost feel like I got tricked into this job! I don't know how long I can endure it, so...
Oh, yeah. I have a power. I am The Cat, which means I can prevent other sinner's actions... I am really good at being distracting when I really want to. Hopefully we can use this to our advantage, or something. Um, my sin is Wrath, by the way.
Nice to meet you all?

My friend, allow me to grant you this power. Even if I am betrayed, I know where I go when I die, and no betrayal will ever change that. I have nothing to lose by trusting you all. I would be honored to know yours when you find it reasonable. But even until then, my undaunted support is still yours. You can't kill me in a way that matters. In any case, there are far too many scared and lost people here. And these Abnormalities only bring more and more to them. For guidance. For power. For security. It would've been one thing if I alone could stop them, but there is too much to do, and God doesn't intend for me to do this work alone. I take comfort in knowing that I have brothers and sisters in action, even if we have slightly different reasons behind it.

You...
I despise people like you the most. I get the feeling we'll get along fabulously.
Let me rescind my earlier statement. You can call me Scott. I'll still backstab any of you if I feel like it benefits me more, though. So don't get too comfortable.

Alright so I'm not sure how you guys want to go about this, but before the game really begins, Saber has to die. And one of you can probably do it!
It doesn't HAVE to be one of you, it can be the Abnormality you're all working with (who will be brought up some more a little later this week) but the death of Saber is what causes everyone to get trapped.
If anyone has a reason for their character to do this then they can do it behind the scenes so to speak, and it'll be revealed later near the end of the game. If not I can have it happen in another way.

I'll do it!
XXXX has never been fond of Saber's loose lips. Thankfully, chatty people are easily taken care of. It'll take a bit of convincing, "Oh he got a big promotion to a corporate office, didn't you hear? He's going places." "He left me this note telling me how much he loved working with me! I'll have to connect with him on Linkedin!"
It'll be years until they realize what's happened, and even then they won't think anything of it. "Oh, that guy died? I forgot he worked here." XXXX will slowly wipe all mentions of him from official record, and promote the actions of lower ranking employees to spiritually take his place.
(How will she do it? Probably poison in his favorite candy. Burning the body, etc.)

That's good. Until the Abnormality does stuff, Vincent's idea of sabotage was mostly comprised of trying to find the self-destruct function, but also coordinating with trusted individuals to use escape pods and make it all look like an accident, etc. But Saber would definitely be a hindrance to the plan, so he must 'rest'.

Alright sweet!
Perhaps tonight or tomorrow I'll do a write up for the Major Abnormality for you guys to familiarize yourselves with. The idea is that they give everyone here an offer they can't refuse, basically helping them escape the facility if they manage to go undetected for each cycle.

EVIL?! This is a righteous cause, my friend. A greater truth that dares to shine a shadow on the smaller truth. Be not concerned. The existence of evil is always the bigger foe than merely appearing evil.

Here's the major "force" at play during the game! [#spoiler=Abnormality T-01-66:] A recent addition to Lunares Corporation, only recently dubbed as "Lost Prophet" by someone in the Information Team, many details are unknown about it currently. It seems to dislike its containment but shows little effort to escape, instead choosing to ramble at any employees working with it about its lord, not once naming it. It has the form of a large, cloaked figure, with most of its body hidden beneath said cloak. Underneath the hood, a blue, solid skull can be seen. From time to time a boney hand similar to the skull pokes out from the cloak. Any efforts to remove the cloak have ended in failure (and serious injury to the employee tasked with the job). Frequently does it verbalize its desire for freedom, salvation, and pleasure. Though when it speaks, it does not simply project a voice, but instead seems to surround your entire being with its words. However, it seems to lack any significant desire to harm employees, occasionally reaching its hand out to them to offer them a "promise." What this ends up entailing is currently being investigated, and it's recommended that all who have received a promise from Lost Prophet to report regularly to the Information team to possibly help explain any side effects caused by the interaction.[/spoiler] Pretty much the same thing will be posted soon in the Sign Up thread so everyone else can know, but you guys get to see it first because you can influence it in some way if you need it to be more present for your character's motivations. I've always imagined the working relationship between Lost Prophet and the Apostles as something of a necessity. After Saber dies, and the Information Department is put into lockdown, this Abnormality would reach out to the group plotting to sabotage L-corp and offer them a deal, where if they were to go undetected during these three cycles of the game, when the power finally shuts down and all Abnormalities are freed, Lost Prophet would use its own power to take the winning faction (you guys) out of the space station and back to earth, or to another universe where it claims to be from, or anything their heart desires. Granting them wishes and freedom. Of course it can't do that unless it's able to escape its containment. But it can't just be let out by leaving the door open or something, it explains that it's not how it works. Also Hephaestus (the super cool controlling AI) would know who'd just let the door open and they'd probably end up dying while she closes the door for them. There's nothing to solid here with this guy and how it operates other than it forming a contract with everyone in the game to aid in its freedom. The contract basically being the game's rules and how it works. If anyone wants anything specific with it it's more than likely possible to implement.

I have very strong ideas on how I see this Prophet, but I will restrain myself from simply writing them out myself, and consider further how I want to play this relationship.

I have very strong ideas on how I see this Prophet, but I will restrain myself from simply writing them out myself, and consider further how I want to play this relationship. If there's some specific things you want, you can let me know. It might work out nicely. Also not quite related, but would you five appreciate having a private Discord DM to use? I like a thread like this where everything is easy to go and read again but I know some people might be different. You guys can also have an in character posting thread too, to discuss things IC if you desire. Though threads like that often don't see much use in past games.

From personal experience, it's a lot easier to reliably get ahold of me on Discord than hoping I see something here. I have been known to not find (or check) topics for a couple weeks, so best not to leave it to chance in my opinion.

The Killing Power this Cycle will work as followed:
The power will begin with Tangerine. If Tangerine dies, it will be passed along to Debra, then Scott, then Carbon, and finally Vincent.

I am the saboteur I can spend the group’s victory points on day 3 on stupid things. (Vaguely that’s what I can do I’ll try to figure out the specifics later)

Okay so basically The role Nanjo got lets you all have your own Midnight Phase early if they're alive after the third Dusk.
I won't say too much but generally you can kill ANYONE on the first night like this, it's not like you have any information to work with. Remember though that your overall objective is to keep your status as evil hidden, and that killing the Keyholder is also in your interest.
