"I followed you in." Mikoto says plainly, turning to Cailin while a slot machine explodes behind them. "I noticed your covert ops mission and acted accordingly as your backup."
"Was there something wrong with my performance...?"

“Uh, nothing was wrong!” She said, impressed by the destruction. “I’m jus’ surprised I didn’t notice ya, is all. Let’s carry on, then.”
Caitlin returned to breaking machines, opting to use her strong leg muscles to roundhouse kick another slot machine. There are worse ways to spend your time.

A few hours passed on the island. People began to notice clouds gathering in the distance. Over time they grew closer, and the sky grew darker. A storm was approaching.
The players made what preparations they could. The casino was the most stable and sheltered building available, so most retreated there. Then the storm was upon them.
It was a very dramatic shift in weather. Before it had been sunny and wonderful, but now the island was wracked by extreme winds and rain. The blimp was knocked about, and at some point lightning struck the clock tower, exploding the top half of it and causing the clock hands to fall off and embed themselves into the ground below. Various sea creatures joined in with the wailing wind, creating an awful cacophony that was only somewhat dampened by the casino walls. Then, a few hours later, it passed. Soon it was like the storm had never been there, other than the building damage it had caused. The scorching sun quickly dried everything, and the winds died down to their previous pleasant breeze.
The players all resumed any outdoors activity they wanted, passing time leisurely. Nail had left them at this point, probably during the storm. Eventually it was time for bed, and everyone began heading to the blimp to clean up and pass out.

When they next awoke, people felt disoriented and confused. The ceiling above them was unfamiliar, and their beds were all rocking unsteadily. The metal walls around them creaked periodically. As they got up, they realised they'd been sleeping in bunk beds inside cramped cabins, shared with some of their fellow players. The cabin groups questioned each other, but everyone was equally confused. With no other options, they pushed open the heavy cabin doors and emerged into a corridor, seeing the remaining players emerge from similar doors spaced throughout it. "So. We're back on the ship." Faye stated.
There was a clamour as everyone tried to figure out what was going on, but theorising was getting them nowhere. Hawk suggested they should head for the exit again, but the interior layout was such a maze that they were all soon lost.
Suddenly, a robotic male voice addressed them over the speakers. "Good morning, dipshits! This is your captain speaking. We'll be making harbour soon." Barely seconds passed before everything shook violently. "Okay! Much sooner than I thought! This is fine, nobody panic, I have everything under control! I just need you to, um, I just need, er-"
A metallic clang could be heard over the speakers, before a new voice took over. Robotic like the last, but female this time. "Nobody panic, but this ship has crashed and we're currently sinking. Please evacuate in an orderly manner, without panicking. I'll calmly direct you to the exit because I am a professional and I'm not freaking out!"
This was all sounding very familiar. The players wasted no time in following Queen's instructions, though they were wary of this all being some kind of strange trap. Soon they found themselves in the same corridor as last time, leading to the exit. Korrigan paused before heading through the door this time, but it seemed to lead back to the island as usual. Everyone stepped out onto the hot, pleasant sand once more, trying to steady themselves. Off in the distance, the ship began to split in half again, exactly as it had previously.
Some of the more canny players were already looking the other way, and sure enough, King and Queen greeted them again. Though, this time M hadn't felt the need to show up.
"Heya! We're here on behalf of our Lord and Demon, M!" King announced.
"The Demon Lord is nameless," Queen explained. "But that's silly, so we asked it for a name! It told us 'M'."
"As for me, I'm King!"
"And I'm Queen!"
"I guess M wasn't interested in greeting you all," King said, shrugging. "But we'll give you dipshits the tour of this place instead!"
"We're good at tours!" Queen added.
"The best!"
"So... are you screwing with us right now, or is this really happening?" Hella asked.
"Don't you want a tour? This island's great, you'll want the tour!" King insisted. Neither he nor the other robot seemed to have any recollection of the previous day. The players were starting to get the picture, but for now decided to allow the pair to lead them around the island again, so they could re-examine everything and see if anything had changed or if there were any clues.
It quickly became apparent that everything had reset: the ship, the robots and the island itself. All the damage from the storm had been undone, as had anything the players had interacted with. Some of the players checked their pockets, and realised everything on their person had reset too. Even their winnings from the casino had disappeared.
Eventually the tour concluded at the beach, like last time. King began to stray too close to the water, but Yves stopped him. "Um... I think it's dangerous to get too close! I-I think I saw a shark!"
"Aw, nonsense! What's the worst that could happen, this close to the shore?" King said. Queen however bonked him on the head and dragged him away from the waterline.
"Listen to the girl, you nimwit! You're not even waterproof!"
"Oh yeah!" King chuckled. "Thanks, you saved by bacon there!"
"Uh... s-sure..." Yves mumbled.
Everyone began to head back to the centre of the island, when all of a sudden a palm tree toppled over and smashed Queen to smithereens. King shrieked and started to freaked out. He tried to lift the tree off of her, but then it slipped out of his hands and crushed him too.
There was an awkward silence, which Caitlin eventually broke. "Prob'ly for the best. Too dumb to live, those two."

"Well. I guess now you can break all those slot machines again, Caitlin." Faye said, kicking away a piece of King or Queen debris that had been launched too close to her when the tree smashed the robots.

“I was going to say ‘this can’t be happening’, but, it’s a little late for that, isn’t it…” Yves grumbles as she falls to her knees and assumes the babygirl position right there in the sand. Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time probably put her off of time travel and time loop plots at an early age or something.

Hawk shook his head, dumbfounded. "If this is all just a time loop here... Then the better question is, would any of us actually perish here? A dangerous thought, indeed..."

"Well. I guess now you can break all those slot machines again, Caitlin." Faye said, kicking away a piece of King or Queen debris that had been launched too close to her when the tree smashed the robots. "That's a good idea." Mikoto nods. "I wish to destroy the machines again." "But this is indeed curious. Who is to say that this won't happen again? We cannot spend the rest of our lives destroying slot machines." Mikoto shakes their head. "Perhaps we should investigate? Ask M what is happening?"

"M-Maybe the time loop would break if one of us died...?" Felix theorized. "Just a wild guess. Maybe it's, like... a motive or something. R-Regardless, um, we should all definitely stay on our toes."

Mikoto then kneels down by the sand and takes out a candle from their coat pocket. They place it upright into the sand.
Them and their familiar begin to dig two holes nearby the palm tree where the unfortunate accident occurred. Leafcelot doesn't spend long digging, because at one point them and Mikoto both notice that King and Queen are still underneath the palm tree that dramatically fell over. So Leafcelot starts to cutely tug at random metal chunks in an attempt to free them, while Mikoto digs a hole that is significantly bigger than it needs to be to just bury the two destroyed robots.

"I'd say she'd have lost it if she ever had it together to begin with." Hella dryly states as she watched the presumed makeshift funeral.

Mikoto after tossing all the junk in the hole turns around to the rest of their class. "Lost? No, no. All of my possessions are still in my room on the blimp, I believe. Have you lost any of your rocks, frined?"
They tilt their head a little. "Do you think this loop thing has made us lose some of our belongings?"

"I......" Hella pauses in confusion. Was her insult lost on Mikoto or was she playing the long game?
"I stopped keeping track of things I didn't have on person. A while ago. Can't remember when exactly." She says out slower than her normal pace.

"She means that what you're doing is dumb. Which it is." Faye elucidated. "They'll be back tomorrow and probably die again tomorrow, and it'll be their own fault. Are you going to dig a grave then too?"

"A better question to ask is, is it even worth it? They do seem hellbent on dying, no pun intended, and we are more than likely going to only get ourselves hurt if we try to help."

"Perhaps instead of standing around gawking at each other, we should find Ms. Càrthaigh? I grow increasingly concerned for her state of being."
So saying, Hawk was the first to head in Caitlin's direction, ready and willing to extricate her from the giant flytrap if need be.

"Hmm..." Hella takes a drink from her water bottle. Upon a single sip she coughs a little. "Christ... Was this always so strong?" "Say it's a lot more quiet than I'm used to around here." "Perhaps instead of standing around gawking at each other, we should find Ms. Càrthaigh? I grow increasingly concerned for her state of being." So saying, Hawk was the first to head in Caitlin's direction, ready and willing to extricate her from the giant flytrap if need be. "That one's uhhh. One of the louder ones right?" She follows the man named after potentially many birds.
