Oh wow, double coincidence XD Me posting 1 here, and the only other guy who revealed their team number so far revealed he was a 1.

Here are your goals:
* FEAR: Do not tell other players about this: lie to cover for the actions of the other in a dire moment * LOVE: Share a romantic kiss in a sunset location * ANGER: Draw a confession from the person who put you in the brace

So I'm a character from BOSS, Bones of Steeple Street, written by Datakot. Bobbi and Mel are the two models living together, who probably have a pikachu on a table. That likely means one of the players is the serial killer, probably Marvin, he's old enough and has that creepy smile. And we all come from different timelines, though presumably some come from the same ones. I guess we're in some kind of weird extra-dimensional place that only exists while we're all here from our own worlds or something.

When you put it that way, seems straightforward enough

Newspaper:
On the bench is a piece of a newspaper. Inside is a starred article on the upcoming execution of The Rabbit's Foot Killer. In the story it talks about how over twenty years ago several people were murdered across Texas with animal body parts found in or around their corpses. It was a series of eight murders and all of the victims showed signs of torture and struggle. Strangely, the article cuts off before they talk more about this murderer.

One serial killer and 8 victims is exactly enough people for a Nonary Game...............

You don’t know if she will live but you know the first aid for the burns at least (you can cool and bandage them)

There is no right answer, you can make your death as dramatic as you can.

oh NO
Also I'm getting the feeling NG12 uses the same twist that I came up with for my unreleased NG, I've been bamboozled.

Hehehehe.
But now I’m sad I can’t get your guess.
Would you say which character this pertains to?

|
Post by Panda on Nov 11, 2022 17:16:17 GMT
Not a character, but more of a game-wide twist. It's very possible I'm just seeing parallels and drawing on my own twist as an explanation for something that's actually very different. We're pretty early in NG12 after all.

Indeed!
Oh and just FYI my current plan is Guille's waiting until 10 minutes are left on the clock. At that point he'll try any suggestion in the hopes that it works (which it won't), as if he just waited until 0 he'd only guarantee everyone gets penalised for the countdown finishing. (He's assuming it's bad if the timer hits 0:00.) At least this way he can rule out one answer so other people can still try inputting things.
Edit: Oh I guess with your recent GM post I can just do that now.

So, how much do I write? Do I just enter a wrong answer and leave the rest to you?

|
|
Post by Doctor Nanjo M.D. on Nov 11, 2022 18:11:30 GMT
You can leave the rest to me if you want or you can have a dramatic death as you are electrocuted

|

I'm willing to write it but it feels more consistent to me if the GM resolves interactions with [Zero]'s mechanisms. There's no ambiguity that way: a GM post is law. Thank you for the offer, though.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, I meant you would write the electrocution as you wrote the other deaths as well. I can write it now, though after I've eaten.

Alright then, questions about my objectives:
1. Do I need to kiss Grayson specifically? Can it really be considered 'romantic' if this is shortly after Grayson tried to blow up Bobbi?
2. What constitutes a 'dire moment'? I figured I'd have to do something like covering for Grayson after he pushed Bobbi into the minefield (but Dahlia witnessed that so I couldn't have lied then), but we temporarily got a point just for almost lying about why he ate sand.
3. I still don't know anything about the 'brace', I assume? This seems like an objective that doesn't apply currently.

1. Seems like you will have to have an emotional turnaround or one of you could kiss someone else.
2. Any situation involving life or death for the involved parties. Guille would be confused about the sand point
3. Yeah it’s hard to make any headway with what you know

Yeah when I first saw the objective (before I knew the teams) I figured it was kiss anyone, or maybe a specific planned cast member. Once I saw the team and found we shared the objectives though, I wasn't sure how it worked. I didn't realise we'd just be given free reign for all the objectives either, #1 sounded really plot-specific.
Oh 2 is pretty wild huh, shame I didn't commit to that XD I'll have to keep that in mind.

Would it be too meta-gamey to try and lie about why Grayson's eating sand now? I'm sure I could still come up with a reason, but it feels a little cheap after the confusion my posts caused.

You can try to lie for him but it might make you sus and you can’t really use the same excuse
